Albert Pujols delivered another game winning hit in less than a week for the Cardinals as he had a game winning two-run double in the 8th inning to seal the victory for the Cards.
It didn't hurt that Looper went 7 innings for St. Louis allowing just 3 hits, 1 run and that was a home run to Hamilton in the 6th inning.
The winning pitcher was Flores 1-0. Losing pitcher was Saarloos 0-2.
