League sources say general manager John Paxson is active in potential trade scenarios, with guard Chris Duhon the most likely Bull to be shopped. Perhaps such second-round secrecy is being sought to ensure the desired replacements are in place if a trade is made.
The Oregonian of Portland reported Thursday that Trail Blazers general manager Kevin Pritchard has been told that guard Kirk Hinrich is "untouchable," further dampening any Zach Randolph-to-the-Bulls talk.
This makes sense. Duhon can be traded with Thabo coming on as he is. We have too many guards and teams need a point guard and we need a good big man. Duhon can be included in any trade we may make!
As for Hinrich. He is untouchable. I agree with that no matter how much I want Randolph.
