Finally the Redbirds never lost; however, they never had to play a team either. It was an off day. A day when Josh Hancock was still on their minds. It looks like his loss is going to take a while for them to get over.
Remember five years when they lost Darryl Kile? The very first game after his funeral, the team regrouped and played good ball for the rest of the season. Let's hope the same thing happens this time.
Cardinals play the Astros starting this evening. Adam Wainwright 1-2, 6.14 ERA will start for St Louis while RHP Chris Sampson 3-1, 3.55 ERA will be on the mound for Houston.
