The Cardinal bats and the team pitching came together in one of the few times this season as St Louis defeated Colorado 9-2 on a Thursday afternoon matinee.
The Redbirds banged out 13 hits with second baseman Aaron Miles getting three of those hits.
WP Wainwright 3-2 6 innings 9 hits and 2 runs. Falkenborg, Flores, and Springer combined for 3 innings of no hit baseball.
LP Hirsh 2-3. He lasted just 4 innings.
